Quick Summer Recap

Andrew already put up pictures from our summer but I thought that I would actually write out what we did. We had fun!
We went to Oregon for Shanny's graduation! Unfortunately the night of her graduation I only made it through seeing her walk across the stage and then had to head back to my parents house. I had a horrible stomach flu and being pregnant makes it worse! Even more unfortunate was the fact that the next morning we had to make the drive back to Utah so we could head to Colorado. But I did survive!
We then went to Colorado. We had fun just hanging out. We went to the Zoo and that was nice! It was mostly shaded and the kids LOVED seeing all the animals. We also played outside a lot.
We had a couple weeks home and then had Pierette and Grandma Donna come out. That was fun! We enjoyed just hanging out and seeing the waterfall of course!
Couple weeks after they left my mom came into town since Ryan was going to EFY. Once again it was a nice visit. We went to Temple Square which Jackson was absolutely fascinated with. He has been before but was too little to remember. The whole reason we just HAD to go there was one Sunday we were down by the Bishops office and there was a flyer for the Children's Church History Museum and Jackson asked if we could go there. So we did and he LOVED it. We will have to go again (it was good free entertainment for the day). My mom asked if she could take the kids back with her for 2 weeks. I wasn't so sure at first, but after Andrew and I discussed it we decided to send them. It was a very nice relaxing two weeks for me! A little quiet but I was able to get a lot done that I wanted to and the kids seemed like they had a blast!
My parents brought the kids back and life got back to normal. Andrew started school back up again and I had to get used to it just being the kids and me (I think they had to get used to that as well!) Labor day weekend we had plans to go to the Midway Parade and Swiss Days which we love, but Friday night I came down with a horrible stomach flu AGAIN! Talk about BAD BAD luck! Who gets it twice in one pregnancy?? Oh well, such is life and you just have to suck it up! Anyways, I was up all of Friday night and well into Saturday morning super sick so I did not get to go to the Parade and Swiss Days. Andrew did take the kids to the Parade and they had a BLAST! They came home telling me all about it. Jackson absolutely LOVES Parades!
In the past couple weeks we have been getting things ready for our little boy to join us. Have you noticed on the baby ticker we are down to just over a month? I am praying for it to be sooner. Measuring a month ahead is just cruel! Yeah, I had to have a Non Stress Test to check that out, turns out that my amniotic fluid is measuring on the high end but nothing to be too concerned about. My doctor is pretty sure that I will not be having an 11 lb baby despite measuring so large. We are getting super excited! Jackson and Kenadi are also. They are pretty funny. They like to come up to my belly and talk to their baby brother and show him their toys and books. They think that he can see everything through my belly button. It makes Andrew and I laugh. Jackson told my sister the other day that his brother was sad because he wanted to come out and play.
Well, thats a wrap up of what has happened over the past couple months since I have been a neglectful blogger. I honestly have just not felt like blogging, I have really felt like sleeping! Boy! People are sure right when they say each pregnancy gets a little harder on your body- maybe it's because you have other kids who need attention. Oh well, we are in the home stretch!
