Jackson's Waterfall

Since Jackson had enjoyed the waterfall so much last week we told him that when his grandmas came in to town that we would take them. He was super excited! So yesterday we went to dinner first and told Jackson after we ate that we would go to the waterfall. Well, we had to drop something off at our house first but didn't explain that to Jackson. So as soon as we start turning onto our street Jackson says, very seriously, "No no no! Waterfall!!" We told him that we just had to drop something off and then we would be on our way to the waterfall. Then when we were driving and he could see the waterfall, he got really excited and said, "My waterfall! My waterfall!!" So cute! He sure does love waterfalls.

4th of July Cont....

Then we started out watching fireworks outside of our house and of course playing with the sparklers. It was impressive to see the amazing fireworks displays done by our neighbors. It was raining so we had to stay under our carport to watch our neighbors fireworks. Then we drove down the street to watch the Midway, UT fireworks. We decided to stay in our car because of the downpour outside. Kenadi was pretty tired by this time but Jackson was loving it!

Fourth of July Weekend

(from 7/5/2011)
Jackson and Kenadi loved the Fourth of July Festivities in our area. On Saturday we went and spent some time with Jackson and Kenadi's Great Great Grandfather. Where they got to hang out with the mules, Bullwinkle and Sarah. They loved petting the mules and feeding them. The best part is as soon as they got there they yelled out Sarah Bullwinkle and both mules walked right over to them.

Then on Sunday we decided to let them try to experience Sparklers so we pulled them out and they played with them a little bit.

On Monday morning we started off the day by waking up at 4:30 in the morning and went to go see the balloons go off in Provo and of course they didnt go off because it was too windy, but then we hung out for the parade. Here are a couple of pictures of Jackson and Kenadi watching the parade.

Bridal Veil Falls

So throughout this summer our goal is to do at least one fun thing that we think our children would like. Last Friday we went to Wasatch State Park and fed the ducks at the duck pond, and we also went and saw Cars 2.
This week we decided to take Jackson to Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon. We drive through the canyon a lot and whenever we do, Jackson always starts yelling, "Waterfall! Waterfall!" So we thought it would be fun if we made a little hike around Bridal Veil Falls, finishing the trip playing at the bottom of the falls. Jackson and Kenadi both loved it! The water was so cold but they kept wanting to put their feet in the water. Here are some pictures from our adventure.
