Thats our son!

So yesterday the 4 of us went out to the little park in our complex. Kenadi and I headed in before the boys because I had to check on dinner. Andrew and Jack came in and Andrew tells me that Jackson started to cry and the only way he got him to stop was by telling him that he would get to wash his hands. I heard this and thought yeah, he must have said something else also, like promised him chocolate. Anyways, today Jackson, Kenadi and I went to the park. It was time for lunch so I told Jackson we had to go. He kept shaking his head no and wanting to keep going down the slide. So I tried Andrew's trick. I told Jackson, "Hey lets go inside and you get to Wash Your Hands!! After I said that he looked at me, shook his head and said, "Yeah!" in his cute little voice that he does. He loves to wash his hands, with soap even!

In other Jackson news, he is starting to eat meat again (other than chicken nuggets). For about 6 months (I think, can't quite remember when he stopped) he did not like to eat any type of meat other than chicken nuggets. We would force him to try it and then he would gag and choke and spit it out. Gross! But, two days ago he took 2 bites of baked chicken- this was huge and Andrew and I were both really shocked. Then yesterday, we had hamburger helper and he ate all the ground beef in it! Then today, when we were eating lunch he asked for some of my chicken and ate it! What?! So hopefully we are over that phase. Who doesnt like meat? So weird!

He still loves to sit with her and asks to hold her multiple times a day. Seems like his favorite time to ask to hold her is when I'm nursing. Go figure!

He covered himself up without any help when he was taking his nap. I can't believe how big and independent he is getting.
